I’ve mentioned before that one of the things I enjoy about being a writer is meeting other writers. But why keep my discoveries of great new writers to myself? Today I want you to meed Debbie Cassidy and tell you how you can help her out and get a free ebook!
You see, she has posted her first solo book (she has been writing as a duo as Amos Cassidy up until now) on Kindle Scout.
Kindle Scout is a new platform for authors to showcase their unpublished manuscripts and gain reader support for publication. It’s a place where readers get to choose what books they would like to see published and Debbie Cassidy is one of the latest authors on the Kindle Scout journey.
Debbie lives in Bedfordshire, England, with her three kiddies and very supportive husband. When she’s not writing she is thinking up new stories, or feeding her imagination with some of the wonderful literature that’s out there. She and I share a passion for cover design, but I’m getting off topic now!
One of the coolest things about this story (besides the writing, which is great!) is the inspiration behind it. Debbie shares that story…
“My dad badgered me to learn more about my Hindu roots for years. When he fell sick I gave in and did some reading. I was inspired by the rich mythology and larger-than-life gods and finished the first draft in time for my dad to read before he passed away. Now I’m ready to share it with others.”
